Home Sales up in Okaloosa and Walton counties

Real Estate markets in Okaloosa & Walton counties are off to a good start this year. Single family home sales increased 31% and 9% respectively compared to February 2009 and condominium sales incresed by 75% in Okaloosa and 82.35% in Walton.
David Goetsch, an economist with NW Florida State College, said he believes the worst of the real estate downturn is over. “You’ll see those prices start to creep up”
