Okaloosa Island is a barrier Island located between Fort Walton Beach and Destin. It is surrounded by water with Santa Rosa Sound and Choctawhatchee Bay to the north and the Gulf of Mexico to the south.  Okaloosa Island is the Gulf front beach community of Fort Walton Beach and is famous for long sugar white sand beaches, emerald green water and for the most incredible sunsets ever seen. The island is home to hundreds of residential homes as well as both low rise and high rise condominiums.
